The BecA-JIC alliance at the scientific core of ACACIA is strengthened by strategic multidisciplinary partnerships in the UK and Africa which ensure that the very best science is brought to bear on Africa’s agricultural challenges and that the outputs of that science are optimally exploited to result in impact on ACACIA’s mission of zero hunger. The success will rely on challenge-driven, strategic research in which research outputs are closely integrated into other aspects of co-developed theories of change.
