Job opening: UEA John Innes Foundation Fellow in Sustainable Development
The School of International Development, supported by a generous match-funded donation from the John Innes Foundation, is seeking to recruit a Fellow to maintain and develop its world-class research on sustainable development and lead on innovative and interdisciplinary research collaborations across the Norwich Research Park (NRP).
This will include shaping the agenda of the emerging Norwich Institute for Sustainable Development, a new interdisciplinary centre of excellence established to maximise the impact of our region’s research strengths on the Sustainable Development Goals.
Applications are invited from academics who feel they are close to professorial level and who work at the intersection of social and natural sciences.
They should be experienced in interdisciplinary working in relation to key global challenges: food, water, energy and/or the environment. Their research should address clearly identified and specific issues and be aimed at delivering outcomes that have practical impact on the ground within the context of agricultural innovation, climate adaptation, rural livelihoods or other related areas.
